Project Name

Brief Description

• This provides literacy programmes in villages because of a very high percentage of illiteracy rates among women in rural areas.
• Having cources that will help the people give basic health training, village child health, HIV/AIDS and Sex Workers and meals for sick children at the local hospital.
• Running literacy programmes with the female inmates at the Bihute Prison.  It also provides sewing, baking, and spiritual counseling lessons for the female inmates.
• Providing inexpensive accommodation for young employed women as well as students at the University of Goroka campus.  Also provided is shelter for battered wives.
• Awareness programmes on the negative impact violence has on women and children and families in general. Awareness on the risk of HIV/AIDS.

The project is based across three provinces of EH, Simbu and Gulf. The project helps the local people to establish eco-enterprises like ecotourism, artifacts business and research as a business. We now offering to assist with the delivery of social services to help the people to elevate their living standards . This suit of activities will hopefully help them to  take stock of their natural resources and mange it sustainable rather than selling their rights to resource developers who will exploit their natural resource in an unsustainable way.
