Diocesan Women's Coordinator (DWC) conducts first deanery visit to Nuku.
A recent deanery visit was conducted by the DWC Mrs. Francesca Oneke to Nuku executives from three (3) parishes Seim, Kafle and Warsai gathered.
The coordinator informed Aitape Star, that the main aim of the Women's Desk was to carry out awareness on the Formation and the Mission of the Catholic Women's Association in the Diocese through all level assosication leaders, strengthening the women's network following the Diocesan Coorporate Plan from 2006 - 2010.
She added that it was also an opportunity for her as the new coordinator to check up on the results of implementation programs, structures and activities which were conducted during the October 2006 workshop.
The theme of the one-week workshop was 'Women, Peace Makers, United in Faith and Action, Informed and Participating.'
According to Mrs. Oneke, this workshop was similar to the one that was conducted for the Diocesan Catholic Women's Association in October 2006.

She also appreciated the assistance given by the Parish Priest, the cooperation of the women from Seim, Kafle and Warsai and also the parisheners for making the week such an enjoyable and fruitful time.
