Dive Rabaul operates full scuba diving facilities from kulau lodge beach resor t and has continuously been in operation sonce the mid 1970’s, operating in and around rabaul simpson habour,gazelle peninsula and watom island areas. dive07.jpg (125462 bytes)

We have three dive boats:

2 boats x 10 persons, 1 boat x 6 persons

2 dive compressors, 12 sets of hire equipment and 75 dive tands ranging in various sizes.

We offer over 20 regular dive sites all of which were not in any way effected by the 1994 volcano eruptions in rabaul.

We dive some wwii ships and aircraft wrecks, wall dives, world class sunken reefs, large coral fan gardens, an underwater cave and volcano lave crevis, also offer night diving. We can arrange most types of scuba diving to meet personal diving requirements for individualsor small groups.

 

All dives sites are only 15 to 20 minutes from kulau lodge beach resort, with an hour between dive’s. Most sites are by boat with some easy shor entries.

Dive trips are every day subject to weather conditions and special charter trips are arranged by request.

Snorkelling trips and game fishing are also available.

We offer scuba dive and accommodation packages to meet special requirements for visitors on request.

Lulay lodge beach resort and dive rabaul are situated on the north coast of the gazelle peninsula just off the north coast road, 15 minutes drive from rabaul or 40 minutes drive from Kokopo, and 50 minutes drive from tokua airport, return airport transfers are available.

 

Two types of accommodation are available are available, beach cottages and our two bedroom to wnhouse apartments.

The resort has a fully licenced restaurant and serves a la carte menu with a variety of western, asian and pacific foods, specializing in local seafood.
